Selection Process

A selection committee made up of representatives from CLIR, EDUCAUSE, and Emory University reviews each application in January. The committee bases its selection on two criteria:

  • The applicant's leadership qualities.
  • The applicant's statement of purpose.

The selection committee seeks to create a participant group with diverse experience, background, and perspectives. The committee also takes into account statements made by the nominating official.
